Calendar Description

This is still a work in progress and is therefore subject to change.

The calendar presented here starts from King William I's coronation on the j# 25 Dec 1066 to the current day.

Use Case

The English Regnal calendar has been used at lest since the reign of Henry II for the dating of government and legal documents. The UK Parliament continued to use Regnal years until 1963.
